Giving Thanks, Reflection

Posted on Posted in General

2013 has been an eye-opener for myself in many different ways. When I first moved to New York in October 2010, I had no idea I’d come even this far. I’m thankful for all the opportunities that have come my way in my three-year journey. Times have been trying this year, however they provided me the best way to grow. This year I’ve been able to:

1.) Express my thoughts through the music I play.

2.) Possess the ability to share my musical knowledge with others.

3.) Influence clients and students to work to be the best they can become.

4.) Invest in people for the long-term.

5.) Introduce and share what helped me develop my craft.

6.) Compromise and wait for the finest opportunity to come, not the first.

7.) Sacrifice my personal time to do something for others.

8.) Spend time with my fiancée.

9.) Respect my elders and peers on-time, not late.

10.) Reap gifts and blessings from not ignoring opportunities sent from God.

I’m looking forward to finishing out the year and I’m excited to see what 2014 will entail. Have a great holiday season.
